The “Share” feature allows you to share your immediate Lens page and its contents to several major social media platforms or by email or you can copy the page link (URL) and manually forward to colleagues.
On a search results page, you can find the “Share” button on the toolbar. Sharing from this location will share your results page.
On an individual scholarly work or patent you can find the “Share” button on the toolbar under the main title and biblio. Sharing from this location will share the summary page.
On an analysis dashboard you can access the share button from the top right of the dashboard header. Sharing from this location will share the dashboard presentation.
On a Lens Profile you can access the share button from the top right of the profile header. Sharing from this location will share the Lens profile.
On a Lens Report you can access the share button from the top right of the report header. Sharing from this location will share the Lens report.
How to Use
From any of the locations share is available you can click on the “Share” button. Clicking the “Share” button will led to a pop-up window with the title with ‘Share’. Here you will be able to select from a range of options to share your page.
Share button options
The ‘Share’ pop-up window has options for you to share on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook or Email to share your results. For social media options that you may use, you will be asked to log in, if you have not already been logged in. On any of the social media platforms when sharing you can also add a personalised message to links before sharing on your feed or timeline.
Below the options to share via social media or Email, you will find a tiny URL unique to your Lens page. Use this link to share by copying it and using it where necessary, say, in an email.
